CH Belle Bęte’s Face the Music
"Reba"
DOB: 12-24-99
Breeder: Charlotte Frazier
(Belle Bête’s Heartbreak Kid X CH Belle Bete’s Hot
Summer Dream)
"Reba" is a white-factored, sable-merle bitch with "fancy" style (like her
mother). She has a long, lean head, pretty eye, beautiful skull and natural
ears. She loves people and believes she is a "lap dog" ~ so beware if you're
sitting or you may have a "lapful" of collie! Reba is linebred on CH Sage
Brush Mardi Gras, ROM. At age four, she just had her first litter ~ 3 smooths
by Edenrock Belle Bete's James Bond; she will later be bred to our newest
addition Edenrock Hudson at Belle Bete. "Hudson" is an in-bred son of CH
Edenrock of Ages and line-bred on the great CH Edenrock Strike It Rich.
We believe that crossing these two families will improve detail of head
(muzzle, underjaw, stop),produce beautiful legs and sound, elegant bodies!

CH Belle Bête's No More Tangles
"Toni"
DOB: 3-7-2002
Breeder: Charlotte Frazier
(Belle Bete's Heartbreak Kid X CH Sage Brush Private Dancer)
"Toni" was my favorite of the five beautiful bitches in her litter. She finished
with 4 majors (4,3,4,4) from breeder/judges, specialty judges, and well-respected
"all rounders". Her striking "red" sable coat draws your eye to her beautiful
"curvy" bodystyle. Collie fanciers often remark about her flow of body ~ lovely
arch of neck, beautiful topline, curve of loin and flow into croup with a well
set down rear. Toni has a lovely dark eye, moderate head with flat, cornered
skull, and pretty expression. She also is line-bred (5 times) on CH Sage Brush
Mardi Gras, ROM. Plans for Toni include a breeding to the beautiful top-producing
collie stud, CH Fantasy Bronze Talisman, ROM. The breeding should produce beautiful,
typey, elegant "babies" with "all the right stuff"!
CH Belle Bête's No Frills
"Janie"
DOB: 3-7-2002
Breeder: Charlotte Frazier
(Belle Bête's Heartbreak Kid X Ch Sage Brush Private Dancer)
"Janie" is a classic Parader-style bitch: beautiful body balance, "low
to the ground" with nice front and rear angulation, strong topline, pretty
arch to neck with pleasing head planes. She has an easy, ground-covering
side gait with nice reach and drive. Her natural ears, lean head (with no
depth), flat "cornered" skull and dark almond eyes are great attributes
and creat that picture often referred to as an "honest" collie bitch.
May, 2005 Jane was WB, BOW, BOS (over specials) to earn two 4 point majors
from the Bred By Exhibitor class to complete her Championship. With wonderful
compliments from the judges and the support of the crowd ringside, I was thrilled
to finish her myself! Big thanks to Clarence "Jay" Lee and Melody
Jensen for minoring her out and fine-tuning her "showability"! This
trully was a team effort! Woo-Hoo!!!
Ch Belle Bête's Tattle-Tail
"Fannie"
DOB: March 28, 2003
Breeder: Charlotte Frazier
(Ch Sage Brush Maximum Exposure X Ch Belle Bete's Hot Summer
Dream)

"Fannie" had a thrilling show career! As a puppy, she won two specialty 4 point majors, a best puppy in specialty, a best puppy in sweepstakes, a best bred-by at specialty, and a 2nd place in the 12-18 class at the 2004 Collie Club of America National Specialty! Fannie finished with a 3rd major in October, 2004. Fannie was expertly shown to her Championship by co-owner Shana Drago.
Fannie is very representative of our family of collies. She has a lovely outline with a beautiful arch & crest of neck and curvy flow of body through the croup; her head is medium long with a nice flat skull, pretty placement of eye, correct finish of underjaw, and no depth of head with a nice, tight lip line.

Belle Bête The Beat Goes On
"Cher"
DOB: May 3, 2004
Breeders: Charlotte Frazier & Shana Drago
(CH Tapestry Tartanside Image X CH Belle Bete No Strings
Attached)
"Cher" represents the classic "curvy" body style of our collie family.
She has a lovely, femine body with a long, curved neck and beautiful flow
of body through curve of loin. Her head is medium in length with a flat, cornered
skull, pretty dark almond eye, and tight, pretty lip line (no depth of head).
From her sire she got the nice rounding of muzzle, finish of underjaw, and
chiselled eye placement. Shown very sparingly as a puppy, she picked up two
major reserves. She will resume her show career with a fresh, new coat late
fall, 2005. A breeding with Pam Eddy's lovely "red dog" is also in the planning
stages.
